Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How are rooms assigned?
Students who come with friends wishing to room together are matched as roommates. Otherwise, students complete a "Lifestyle Preference Survey" through the roommate finder on the 100 Midtown website. Approved applicants will be granted access to 100 Midtown's roommate online finder where they can browse through profiles of other residents at 100 Midtown who are also looking for roommate(s). Applicants can choose their own roommates or they will be matched by computer with preferences from other Residents and Applicants. Such preferences will include: sleeping habits, meal habits, cooking preferences, cleaning habits, study habits, exercise habits, school attended and class year. Other factors are considered only if the Resident considers them personally important such as: academic major, religion, home region and specific dislikes.
